Christina Lopez, a sixth-grade girl, was killed after being hit by an 18 wheeler truck without it’s trailer. She was waiting for a bus that would take her to school when the truck accident occurred.
Police have reported that the truck was trying to make a wide turn onto a narrow road. It has been noted that the truck driver voluntarily submitted to a blood test and those results will be used in the investigation as they become available.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
Francis Lee Duncan, 71, of Anderson, South Carolina, was killed this past Saturday in a fatal tractor trailer accident.
South Carolina Highway Patrol has reported that it seems Duncan’s Kawasaki motorcycle crossed over the yellow line on a turn and struck the 18 wheeler. Unfortunately, Duncan was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
The truck driver sustained no injuries in the wreck. Local authorities are still investigating accident.

Police are reporting that around 6:43am last Monday, a semi truck driving north crashed into the passenger side of a black vehicle. Unfortunately, the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Johnny Reffitt, 38, was killed yesterday afternoon when his tractor trailer truck hit a construction vehicle from behind. The accident occurred at mile 206 on I-45, a few miles north of Fairfield. Reffitt was pronounced dead at the scene of the truck accident.
The driver of the construction vehicle, Marcus Martin, was taken to East Texas Medical Center in Fairfield and is listed in good condition.

Jones suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead at West Carroll Memorial Hospital. George Eckles, the driver of the truck, reported no injuries.

A 20-year-old Alabama man lost his life last Tuesday after his motorcycle collided with an 18 wheeler truck attempting to make a left turn.

A flatbed truck and two tractor trailers were involved in a truck accident early Friday morning in Harris county.
The two 18 wheeler trucks were at a stop on the North Sam Houston Parkway while a utility company was performing some work with electrical lines. Apparently the driver of the flatbed truck noticed the 18 wheelers too late and ended up running into one 18 wheeler, pushing it into the other.
The driver was trapped inside of his truck and had to be removed by the fire department. He was later taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
Early Thursday morning, an Interstate 80 tractor trailer accident involving a bus and two semi trucks sent 41 people to the hospital. The accident occurred around 2 a.m. when an 18 wheeler drifted into the median and then over-corrected, Nebraska State Patrol said.
When the semi truck over-corrected, it caused the truck and trailer to overturn, blocking two lanes. A Burlington Trailways bus was unable to stop and collided with the overturned tractor trailer. A second big rig truck then clipped the trailer of the overturned truck.
